SCBWI members may not know that every region around the world is run entirely by volunteers, including the leadership team. All of these volunteers give their time and talents because they hold a deep passion for children’s literature. But, in order to take care of ourselves and nurture our physical and mental well-being, we must set boundaries between our volunteer service and the fueling of our professional and creative careers.
Therefore, feel free to send your inquiries at any time (wisconsin@scbwi.org), but please understand that, unless your inquiry is an emergency that requires immediate attention, we may hold off on replying until our official office hours: Mondays through Thursdays from 8 am until 11 am.
