Taylor Martindale Kean of Full Circle Literary

Lauren Spieller of Triada US Literary Agency

Pre-event with editor Ashley Hearn of Page Street Publishing

Join us for Agent Day 2018 from the comfort of your home computer! This half-day event is geared to foster insight and inspiration regarding your craft and pitch.

Agents will be on screen one at a time. They’ll start with their craft talk, respond to fifteen pre-submitted pitches, then answer questions.

Lauren Spieller of Triada will present How to Write a Killer Query and Get Requests, Taylor Martindale Kean of Full Circle will present Hearing voice in MG & YA fiction, and Natalie Lakosil of Bradford Lit will present Revision: Quick Tips & Tricks. To see presentation descriptions and the full schedule, visit the Agenda page. To read more about the agents, visit the Faculty page.

Want your pitch to be read directly to an agent? There are 45 spots, all which include a written critique (first five pages of a novel, one full picture book manuscript, or five illustrations). Sign up now to make sure you get a spot!

Not sure you want your pitch read directly to an agent? It’s optional! And you can still participate in the pre-event with editor Ashley Hearn of Page Street Publishing. Test your pitch with her and get valuable feedback on what works and what doesn’t.

We look forward to seeing you (virtually, of course) on January 27th. Once registered, join us on the private pre-event Facebook page to get the conversation going, or on twitter: #WISCBWI18.

*Registered attendees will receive a link on 1/26/18 to access both the live webinar and the video recording, which will be available after processing for 30 days.
